As the Founder and CEO of Revive Roots, Khadija brings her lived experiences, cultural heritage, and dedication to creating solutions that celebrate the uniqueness of every individual’s hair journey.

Growing up, my sister and I faced persistent scalp sores, a challenge that was met with my father’s unwavering determination to heal us. Without formal knowledge of natural remedies, he instinctively turned to Neem, an herb revered for its incredible healing properties. Though he may not have known the word Ayurveda, his remedies mirrored the ancient practices that use nature’s wisdom to treat and nourish the body. These early experiences planted the seeds for what would later become a lifelong exploration into natural hair care.

As I grew older, I became captivated by the natural hair community, watching it flourish with stories of empowerment and transformation. For years, I believed that achieving long, healthy hair was a privilege reserved for certain people. But through research, experimentation, and a commitment to understanding my own hair, I learned that growth—real, sustainable growth—is attainable for everyone. It starts with knowledge, patience, and the right approach.
